Community Speed Watch Training August2

Volunteers who have signed up to be part of the Community Speed Watch Initiative in Barham are now successfully undergoing training.

Some of the volunteers have now carried out their first so at capturing the speeding culprits.  Anyone who is travelling more than 30mph
in a 30mph speed limit will be reported to the police.   The person will then receive a warning letter from suffolk police, if you get caught
a third time you will get a visit from the police.
If you are caught speeding at 51 mph and over in a 30 mph area you will get a visit from the police straightaway and no warning letters.

Members of the public were happy to see the team addressing the speed problems in Barham.
